The media lies. The college campuses lie. Though they may not directly say it, those who hold to any type of Replacement theology support the anti-Israel lies of the left. The placards carried through the streets of America accusing Israel of genocide and oppression lie. Many ignorant so-called theologians with their high degrees support the protestors with the same rhetoric. They are willingly ignorant of what the Bible says about God and His relationship to Israel (Deuteronomy 7:6-9). And at the same time, they are ignorant about what the Bible says about the descendants of Ishamel. Although the Ishmaelites have been scattered throughout history, it is commonly accepted through historical and geographical evidence that the Muslims of the Middle East are their descendants. History also shows that they have been in constant conflict with Israel, as well. Since 1948, Israel has encountered aggression from Arab countries, including non-Arab Muslim countries such as Turkey and Iran. Many have turned into wars or conflicts. And, of course, these wars should include Hitler’s Holocaust in WW2. So, Israel is constantly on the alert. Yet the media, the college campuses, etc., always seems to blame Israel as the aggressor.
Genesis 16:12, 13 tells us this, “And the angel of the LORD said unto her (Hagar), Behold, thou art with child, and shalt bear a son, and shall call his name Ismael; because the LORD hath heard thy affliction (6040, trouble). And he will be a wild man; his hand will be against every man, and every man against him; and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren.” Is this not a description of the Muslims today? They do not even get along with each other, except in their mutual quest to hate Israel and the USA. Yet, our government tolerates it and makes excuses for them in America. And too many of our pulpits are silent.
Psalm 83:4 says, “They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.” Now whether one wants to believe that is simply an imprecatory prayer or a prophecy yet to be fulfilled, the violent tone is there. And we are seeing those exact words written on posters and banners in the streets of America. They are being shouted from the mouths of hate-filled liberals and violent Muslims (again, Genesis 16:12, 13) on American soil. In Obadiah 10 we read, “For thy violence (2555, chamas) against thy brother Jacob (Israel, Genesis 32:28) shame shall cover thee, and thou shalt be cut off forever.” Again, whether one thinks this has been fulfilled or yet to be fulfilled, it is important to note the two peoples mentioned and Who will win. And it is the Muslims against Israel, not the other way around. These are but a couple of examples of the Muslims against the Jews, as the cry of annihilation continues against Israel with the accusations of genocide and oppression. But who wants to wipe out who?
In today’s world, who wants to cut off whose heads? It is the Muslims who want to cutoff heads, not the Jews. It is the Muslims who encourage genocide, not the Jews. It is the Muslims who force submission, not the Jews. Does this look like Israel is causing genocide to the Muslim population? Israel simply, and rightfully so, defends herself. When Israel was viciously attack on October 7, 2023, the world was on her side for about five minutes, then the world, including American politicians, turned against her. So-called theologians have forgotten to remind the world that “for he that toucheth you (Israel) toucheth the apple of his (God’s) eye (Zechariah 2:8).” And too many theologians twist the meaning of Genesis 12:3 by saying it does not pertain to Israel.
The angel of the LORD told Hagar that He will “multiply thy seed exceedingly, that is shall not be numbered for multitude (Genesis 16:10).” In other words, they will be too numerous to count. Today’s Muslim population is estimated, worldwide, at over 2 billion people. The Jewish population is estimated at only around 17 million people. Does this look like Israel is succeeding or wanting to wipe out the Muslims?
Yet, the media lies and too many pulpits are silent.
