Evil does not hide itself anymore. Although it has always been around, there was a time when it was more discreet. No longer is it only in the shadows or hiding secretly behind the dark corners of alleyways. It is out in the open with no shame and, sadly, protected. Our once civilized society now has anti-white, racists, wig-wearing left-wing Democrats calling for open harassment in the face of her opponents, i.e., conservatives. Is it any wonder that open murderers are being celebrated? There are left-wing liberal judges releasing hardened illegal criminals back into our society (not theirs) to commit more heinous crimes. We have left-wing politicians jokingly calling riots a summer of love, which was really a summer of destruction to their own cities. We have a left-wing Democrat barging through doors into meetings he was not invited to attend just wanting to make a name for himself. Little did he know that he had already made a name for himself. It is “Fool.” BLM was nothing but an organization of anti-white radicals whose goal is to destroy and steal, while their leaders sit in their mansions paid for by ignorant and misleading people of all colors. There are countless random and unexplainable murders on public transits. Now, we are allowing foreign-born Muslims to be elected to political positions with the goal of changing the landscape of this once great country to a third-rate nation. They are openly, and with American protection, threatening this country and vowing for its destruction. There is no shame in their chants of “Death to America! Death to Israel!” Neither is there any resistance from our government against these threats of annihilation. American politicians are silent for fear of being called a bigot or a racist while taxpayer money is siphoned away to support them and their causes of destruction. Our so-called leaders and politicians are pulling and forcing this country to a destructive end. Still, God is in control and allowing these to happen because He has ordained all things.
II Timothy 3:1 says, “This know that in the last days perilous times shall come.” It does not say that perilous times “might” come. It says that they “shall” come. “Perilous” (5467) means fierce and furious. So, our sovereign God is promising us “perilous times” will come in the last days. In other words, “perilous times” are here, now. II Timothy 3:3 further describing the times says people will be “fierce” (434). This word means “savage.” So, we see that people will be “fiercely savage” in the last days, which are here. Is it any wonder that we are seeing in the news today the very description that Paul wrote?
And we see the same Greek word in both Matthew 8:28 and in II Timothy 3:1. That is the word “chalepos.” In Matthew 8:28 it is used in connection with two people “possessed with devils” or what should be translated “demons.” So, both uses of the same Greek word plus the description in II Timothy 3:3 elevate something that is “fiercely savage,” in other words, demonic. Are we not seeing this fierce savageness in society today with the unbridled viciousness of people living in a so-called civilized nation?
